Hey all,

I know this is not Dark Angels related, but this past Saturday I entered a Lizardman painting contest at my local GW store here in Dallas and I won :)

So I thought you all might like to see the pictures of the Skink Priest that I painted. Here is the front , and the back .

It is very different from any mini I've painted before but it was a lot of fun and it was actually a bit of practice for the Warhammer Fantasy Orc army I going to be painting in the hopefully not too distant future. Which will have to get a website of its own at some point as well.

Anyway back to your regularly scheduled Dark Angels program :)

Attention all Dark Angels Players!

Hello Brothers,

The 13th crusade is upon us and it is time for the Unforgiven to coordinate their efforts to thwart the plans of Abaddon while at the same time hunting our Fallen Brethren.

Today the Gathering of Angels Campaign website goes live and I urge all Dark Angels players to Check it out here:

http://www.theoutpostclub.co.uk/darkangels/goa/

It is being run by Six Dark Angels players including myself as a way to coordinate our attacks and add some more Dark Angels flavor to the Eye of Terror campaign. Two of the members running it are Owen Ree's who you may have seen play his Dark Angels recently in a few battle reports published in White Dwarf. And the Shadowguard who's website the Fortress of the Unforgiven has been a central hub for the Dark Angels community on the internet for several years.

I can't say much about this, but while our campaign is in no way officially endorsed by Games Workshop, they are watching our Campaign site and this is an excellent opportunity to possibly effect the outcome of the EOT as far as the Dark Angels are concerned in a very real way.

We have been working very hard on this for the past several months getting it ready for all of you. So we hope you will enjoy it. Please feel free to pass this on to as many Dark Angels players as you can, the more that are involved the more successful this will be :)

For the Lion!!

Hey all,

Well I'm back from LA and there is no Golden Demon on my mantel, I had a great time though and Brother Bish did make it through the first cut. However the Gamesday staff told me Inquisitor miniatures were to go into the Large 40k Model Category when in reality all of them but mine were in the Open Category, long story short it should have been in Open Category and I can't help but wonder how it would have done were it up against similar models. But Cest la Vie, I plan to enter him again when I can get to another Gamesday perhaps I'll build a diorama around him with a few of his closest friends. To see the models that won the LA Golden Demons click here.

Anyway I did not go home empty handed,I won a copy of the Eye of Terror codex as a door prize so that was a pleasent surprise. Now I have to get working on the many projects I have on my plate.

I posted a picture at the bottom of the Chaplain Bish page with a comparison picture of =I= scale Bish and the 40k scale Bish that inspired him. You can see it here (Scroll down to the bottom)
